After your arrival in New Zealand, we understand that you will have many questions and need help with different things. IEI staff are here to help you with anything from booking a weekend trip, to opening your bank account, booking insurance or extending your course and visa. We have native language advisors available if you need to talk to someone in your native language. Please just ask. 

Orientation: On Day 1, you will have an Orientation in the morning. During this time, you will have an English test, so we can place you into the right level class. Please make sure you bring your passport, insurance, pen and paper with you. IEI’s orientation will include a school tour, inner city tour, how to open a bank account, where to buy your bus ticket and a lot of other useful information for enjoying your time at IEI and in Christchurch. This is a good time to ask questions.
